Karan Thapar in his column in the Hindustan times argues that in favor of government action to bring MF Hussain back to the country and tackle with threats against him. He calls it another form of terror. ( link )
M.F. Hussain now lives abroad in a self imposed exile after protests erupted against his demeaning work and threats to his life and attacks on his property in the country.
Government of India should take steps to bring him back to the country safely. Thus far I agress with Karan Thapar. But :
He should be tried for treason, disrespecting the spirit of the country through vulgar artistic works on 'Mother India' and Hindu gods and goddesses and then officially banned from the country.
