Yesterday was a disappointment for a by-watcher. The all party meet did not did not inspire any new political drama on the issue of Telangana statehood, quite unlike what I expected.
The central government's approach to the meeting had been very good and hence helped ease tensions, at least temporarily.
Nothing new came out of the meeting except for the fact that the central government got a first person account from all the political parties of their versions. The onus has now fallen back on the central government. One has to wait and see what their next move is.
