The other day I was watching live the TV5 programme that authored a conspiracy theory behind YSR's death based on a highly unreliable website report. I brushed it aside as stupidity on the part of the channel and then carried on doing my own work
Only a few hours later did I realise the impact such an irresponsible could have in a society like ours. Honestly I was gone mad at the reactions of the people to such a baseless reportage.
To see those media guys arrested after the brought some relief to my heart. I would love to see them punished under the most stringent of the laws of the land. Media should learn lessons from this episode and behave responsibly.
The should also be a media regulator established to keep a check on media excesses along the lines of the one in the UK.

Media is a like an uncontrollable wild horse. It should be definitely regulated if not regulated. I do not like censorship but I am forced to think like this after being a victim of extremities in the so called Media.
I second your proposals and ideas.
Wild horse indeed it as become. I share your views on censorship.
There could be an independent body with people of unquestionable professional and financial integrity. I mean any mechanism that would make media accountable and responsible.
