One look at the people in the fore front of the Telangana agitation reveals an interesting thing: one of political opportunism. A majority of this brigade are currently politically unemployed fighting one way or the other for their individual relevance.
KCR : had taken a beating after the heavy losses in the May 2009 elections. Had a desperate need to save face.
Jana Reddy : fighting for relevance after being left in the cold by YSR during cabinet formation.
Damodar Reddy : was a minister in the previous cabinet. refused a berth this time.
Jeevan Reddy: also a minister earlier.
Venkata Swamy: had been perennially left in the cold by the party when it came to giving positions despite being the senior most leader in the party.
Suresh Reddy : This political unemployed has just resurfaced. Lost as an MLA in the elections.
Thats not all. There are many more such faces.
