Put state first

Hypothetically speaking, even if the congress high command yields to the demand of making Jagan the CM, after all the friction that is created between the state unit and themselves, I wonder what kind of a working relation would evolve between them given this not so pleasant present.

Neither would be comfortable working with the other and every decision is going to be met with mistrust and suspicions of one overriding the other.

And, both the parties here, the Jagan camp and the congress high command, are missing the point. Its about the administration of the state which could not be conducted in earnest with confusion prevailing. All is not hunky dory as being projected with the administration.

The congress high command has to figure out a way to explain its position to the Jagan camp as soon as possible avoiding any further murkier contests among the cadres of the party which does to the party or the state.

Also the Jagan camp has to come to terms with the reality rather than trying to put across emotional outpouring of sympathy and affections as people's wish to have Jagan as the CM. With power so achieved, there is absolutely no way he could have a smooth relationship with the centre even if his demands are met for the day.

In the larger interest of the state hopefully more clarity emerges and administration would be running at full throttle.
