Two southern states are hit by floods that are termed 'worst in a 100 years'. Actually some even called it the worst floods in 10,000 years.
The actual extent of damage to the property in the two states is at least for now incalculable. How are they coping up with the aftermath?

The situation in Andhra though has come back to normalcy pretty quick as politicians started murky wars no sooner than the flood water started receding from the villages.

We have managed to raise Rs. 300 crore during today’s padayatra in Bangalore. On October 5, we raised about Rs. 200 crore in north Karnataka. Together, we have collected about Rs. 500 crore in 48 hours,” Mr. Yeddyurappa told presspersons after the padayatra. (link)
