Pakistan: living in denial

Think about South Asia. Think about stability. And now think about the biggest threat to stability in South Asia: Pakistan.

Who would disagree on that. But, unsurprisingly however, a senior Pakistan military official has termed India's induction of nuclear powered sub-marine as a "destabilising step".

It can not get any more ironical than this. He doesn't stop there:

Without entering into an arms race with India, Pakistan will take all appropriate steps to safeguard its security and maintain strategic balance in South Asia.

They still think living in denial and issuing media rebuttals helps.
