I do not have any statistical evidence to prove what I am going to say now. But I do strongly believe this is what is going to happen in Telangana region. The BJP is going to get stronger by the day in telangana region. Although I am opposed to the bifurcation of the state I am not oblivious to the fact that the BJP and its sister organisations like the ABVP are aggressively taking part in the agitation for telangana statehood.
We have seen how BJP, although very silently, garnered decent numbers in Telangana region during general elections in 2009. This is perhaps one reason why the party ruled in favor of statehood for Telangana ahead of everybody else.
Just as right it is in saying that whatever support it had in the coastal and rayalaseema regions should have been swept away by now.

But i like the way BJP demands for seperate state. Their agenda is simple
We believe in smaller states=>Hence bifurcate the states=>Both the states will develop well.
Compare this with that of TRS, that says andhrites are looters and that they must be kicked out.
The TRS is a bunch of glorified goondas. KCR's family is an 'X' symbol of it.
