Whereas it used to divert users to Answers.com for queries on any word in English earlier through its definition option on the search results page, it now directs all queries to its own dictionary platform also available directly at dictionary.google.com
What is more significant about these changes is the ability to refer to words and meanings from Telugu to English and then English to Telugu as well.
So anytime we need to know what a word means in Telugu all we need to do is just go to dictionary.google.com and select Telugu<>English dictionary and then type in the word. Take a look at the screenshot below.

How cool and how great!! Kudos Google.

Google recently made these modifications.
They improved the indic transliteration editor too, and also integrated the dictionary.
We don't need to go to a different page to find out meaning of a word when typing in Telugu. Give it a try here:
http://www.google.com/transliterate/telugu
And if you are a blog user, it is even beautiful. You can integrate both transliteration and dictionary in the blog editor itself. Have a look at this pic.

Thanks Phani for introducing me to these features. I'll sure try them out.
