Chandrababu now demands an exclusive reservation system for Muslims in the state. Currently they are put in the same category as the BCs.
Five months after the elections in which Muslim voters all over the state had voted en masse to the congress party, Chandrababu Naidu is trying to reach out to the community. The problem with this is that he does not realise that muslim voters are not going to back him solidly whatever dramas he tries to enact.
Going after a votebank that is hell bent on ignoring him, he is keeping the BJP at bay which is costing him crucial non-muslim votes. This is not a situation that would help him achieve his goals.
